What is the IGGA-NEC?
Formed in 1996 by glass enthusiasts, the New England Chapter (NEC) is a regional chapter of the International Guild of Glass Artists, Inc. (IGGA). We are a nonprofit association of artists, artisans and crafters who work and play with glass using a full range of artistic techniques.

There seems to be an instinctive camaraderie among those of us who work with glass. The New England Chapter promotes this spirit by providing a forum to exchange ideas and information, discuss and solve problems, share discoveries, and support each other in our visions for the future of glass. We freely exchange the knowledge of members who are on the cutting edge of new products and techniques and enjoy the benefit of their experience.

To facilitate communication among glass artists, to encourage education and promote excellence in the glass arts.
